Malik Trey Bio Part 1:
a German based music composer and songwriter who has been involved in many projects since 1991. In 1991, at the age of 14 years, he joined the school-band "No Name Project". In this band he performed as drummer, keyboarder, percussionist, lead- and background vocalist. Until their breakup in 1993, "No Name Project" had played numerous local gigs as well as throughout the surrounding locations of his hometown. In 1994 Malik Trey started to engage himself in creating electronic music. He immediately mastered the fundamental techniques of computer-based compositions and developed an intuition for the rythmic and harmonic alignment of electronic instruments (synthesizer like Moog and Korg as well as sounds of original compositions). Malik has always stayed concentrated on the procedures and improvement of his compositions. In 1999 the label "Corrosive Media" discovered him and advanced his career in electronic music by giving him the chance to make his music accessibly for public through an appearance on "EVO SONIC" radio. Having made innumerable live gigs Malik founded the electro-acoustic band project "Tonmenschen" together with Raik Hildebrandt. The band also offered a platform for guest musicians. During this time Malik met a number of interesting people who broadend his musical horizon considerably.
